JFCS offers a range of services for families, adolescents, and children that include individual and family therapy.  Services for children include support around divorce, loss, anger, challenging behaviors, anxiety, depression, blended family issues, and assistance adjusting to new situations.  We offer therapy that includes art, play, and more traditional talk therapy.  Payment is on a sliding-scale fee basis.

In addition to our counseling services mentioned above, JFCS serves all schools in the Downey Unified School District, Los Alamitos Elementary School, and The Hebrew Academy in Huntington Beach. JFCS’ clinicians work with students, helping them with skills to build healthy relationships and to cope with situations where grief, bullying, feelings of loss due to divorce, and anxiety may be factors.
