This March 13–14, 2026, JFCS is proud to join HIAS and the global Jewish community for the 8th Annual Refugee Shabbat. In a time of significant challenges for resettlement programs, our community has remained resilient. This Shabbat is an invitation to pause, reflect on our shared accomplishments, and gather the energy needed for the work ahead.

Whether you host a dinner at home or join a congregational service, your participation helps educate and mobilize our community for the long path ahead. Registered participants receive a full library of resources, including text studies and action guides.
