JFCS is included in the Jewish Community Partnership, a consortium of agencies that serves as a vital community resource in Long Beach and West Orange County. These agencies include the Alpert Jewish Community Center, The Hebrew Academy, Jewish Long Beach (formerly the Jewish Federation & Jewish Community Foundation of Long Beach/West Orange County), and Long Beach Hillel. All except The Hebrew Academy are based at the Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Jewish Federation Campus at 3801 East Willow Street in Long Beach.
JFCS also collaborates with the Claims Conference whose headquarters are located at 1359 Broadway, Room 2000, New York, NY 10018 in New York. The Claims Conference supports services to Nazi victims residing in 47 countries. It continues to negotiate with the German government in order to obtain additional funds to cope with the growing needs of Jewish victims of Nazism. JFCS of Long Beach/West Orange County provides services to Nazi victims in our service area through funding from The Claims Conference.
Jewish Long Beach (formerly Jewish Federation and Jewish Community Foundation of Long Beach/West Orange County) raises funds, convenes leadership, and focuses energy around a unified vision for our community as it aids the sustainability of all the Partnership agencies.
