Join a “Thunderclap” of advocacy during 2024.

We partner with HIAS to prepare to meet with legislators and to advocate
on behalf of refugees and asylum seekers.

You will join a local team that meets regularly and provides you with as much support and tools to help you feel confident meeting with your Member(s) of Congress.

Step 2. Watch the 1-hour training recording that focuses on meeting specifics with Members of Congress (MOC’s), learn how to prepare for your meeting, what makes these meetings successful, and learn some of the analysis on the talking points and issues. This training recording includes updates on the most pressing immigration issues and pending legislative items.

Step 3. Download these “Talking Points” full of information, facts, making-your-case statements, and scripts.
